Tom began his real estate career with his wife Cathy at Waverly in 1971 with United Farm Agency. Over the years Tom became well known for his expertise in farm and land sales, appraisals and commercial transaction.
Tom left United in 1984 when he became Mayor of Waverly and later was appointed by Governor Cuomo’s office to the NYS Department of Economic Development. As a rural economic development specialist he served in this capacity and also as Regional Director for seven years gaining valuable experience in business, industry, agricultural and forestry development projects.
Tom rejoined united Country in 2002 and formed United Country-Tom Mullen & Associates, LLC. Tom has consistently been one of the top selling offices in his region. Tom’s vast knowledge, and experience in the real estate field has made him a natural teacher for the staff in his growing office. Tom specializes in Commercial, Farm, Land and Investment real estate. During the past 36 years he has developed a diverse client base of satisfied Buyers and Sellers.
Tom is the proud father of six children and sixteen grandchildren. He is married to his wife Cathy for the past 52 years. Tom enjoys fishing, camping, spending time with his family and his fellow formers Marines in the Marine Corps League.

Dana Harbst-Burkhart, Office Administrator/Licensed Agent

Dana was born and raised in Athens, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Bucknell University and attended Penn State University graduate school. Dana has been with our office for 4 years. She is an extremely valuable asset to our team, acting as the office administrator overseeing all of the daily activities of our busy office, as well as being a licensed agent in both NY and PA. Dana is a "people person" and loves helping customers find that "JUST RIGHT" home! Dana lives in Waverly, NY and is a devoted mother to her 3 children. In her spare time... Dana loves to run and exercise.

Margo brings over 18 years of real estate experience to our team! She is licensed in both NY and PA and specializes in all aspects of real estate. Margo is a lifelong resident of Bradford County (PA) and Tioga County (NY) and brings a great deal of expertise to our team. Margo recently joined United Country - Tom Mullen & Associates in 2010 and loves the United Country Marketing Program!
